Mayford Place, Wandsworth

We have recently submitted proposals for three family-sized mews houses to replace seventeen underused and unsightly garages on a challenging back-land site in the Nightingale Triangle (LB Wandsworth). Even prior to a constructive pre-application meeting with planning officers we had already decided to embrace the constraints of the site positively, thinking very carefully about privacy, possible sense of enclosure, sunlight and daylight and landscape to develop three highly sustainable and picturesque dwellings arranged around a secluded courtyard integrating an existing mature tree and adding further shrubbery and planting. Planning was submitted in July 2024 with a decision expected in the autumn.
