Experienced Part II Architectural Assistant or Recently Qualified Architect
We are looking for a talented, resourceful and committed Part II architectural assistant or recently qualified architect to join our busy Central London studio. We work on a variety of stimulating projects, including new-build, retrofit, extensions, and additions to buildings in sensitive or heritage contexts; from domestic to large-scale residential and mixed-use work. As a design-led studio, we are committed to your development and increasing confidence as a designer, encouraging your participation in our design reviews and wider conversations about architecture.
Our candidate should have:
· At least two year’s experience post RIBA Part II studies working in a design-led studio.
· An exceptionally clear and well-presented portfolio.
· Presentational clarity and rigour in graphic and written work.
· Excellent command of 2D CAD software; in particular MicroStation but not essential, but a willingness to learn quickly is.
· Proficiency in Sketchup and rendering software.
· Excellent post-production skills to produce beautiful visuals and illustrations.
· Ability to work within a team, while having a high degree of autonomy and excellent time management.
· Good working knowledge of the UK planning system and building regulations.
· Project experience between RIBA Stages 0-4 essential.
· A love of architecture & design as well as a committed attitude to work and an eagerness to flourish and progress.
